• Create accurate, searchable PDFs
  PaperPort automatically creates searchable PDFs of any scanned paper document. Just indicate the file type on the Scanner Profile or choose the “Make Searchable PDF” option under the Tools menu of the PDF Viewer. Advanced Optical Character Recognition (OCR) with hyper-binary conversion ensures that all scanned image content is accurate and searchable. So you can find any document right away with a simple search.
• Use standard search engines

You can even remove background noise, adjust contrast, drop out color for perfect white backgrounds and increase the clarity of black text.
• ImageViewer and Editor
  PaperPort 12’s new and improved PDF Viewer Plus includes a robust and fully integrated ImageViewer and Editor that let you make further improvements to your PDFs. When you’re displaying a document in PDF Viewer Plus, just select an image, open it in ImageViewer, and make your changes using SET tools. When you close ImageViewer, you’ll see your image editing results immediately displayed within the PDF. No more toggling back and forth between applications. No need to purchase special photo editing software. It’s that simple.
• Digital photo correction
  With PaperPort 12, you can take a picture of a document with your digital camera and accurately convert it into a text document. PaperPort automatically applies special 3d-deskewing algorithms that flatten page images and correct distortions to increase the accuracy of the resulting text document.
